Abstract
Anxiety is a prevalent mental health issue affecting students worldwide, especially in high-pressure academic environments. This study explores anxiety among secondary-level students in the Narsingdi District, Bangladesh, where academic pressure, family expectations, and social factors intensify mental health challenges. Using a qualitative methodology, data were gathered through interviews with teachers and students to understand the root causes, effects, and potential strategies to address these issues. Findings indicate that anxiety significantly impacts academic performance and emotional well-being, exacerbated by a lack of adequate support systems in schools. The role of teachers and the importance of mental health programs in schools are highlighted. Recommendations include teacher training, parental awareness initiatives, and improved school mental health services
